It is common knowledge that America shamelessly and hypocritically presents itself as a defender of the rule of law, human rights, dignity, and respect for national sovereignty. In reality, it undermines the universal rule of law, applying only its own fascist principles.
From its inception, America confiscated land from its rightful owners, the indigenous American Indians, and confined them to reservations. The institution of slavery further demonstrates its cruel and inhumane nature, with a profound disrespect for non-white lives.
America has a history of invading other countries, such as in the case of Iraq, where the non-existent weapons of mass destruction were used as a pretext. It remains the only nation to have used atomic bombs, dropping them on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing hundreds of thousands, and leaving many more maimed for life.
America has decimated lives and property through clandestine wars in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, South America, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and Palestine. It now continues this massacre against the Palestinian people by aiding and funding Israel’s genocide, falsely asserting that Israel has the right to defend itself.
This narrative of Israel’s right to self-defence has been perpetuated by the current and previous American administrations, whose politicians are predominantly under the influence of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
This was evident last month when Benjamin Netanyahu addressed a joint session of the US Congress. How else can one explain the cheering and clapping by AIPAC-supporting Congress members at every line of his speech, condemning the Palestinians and asking for aid to obliterate them? He even criticised American protestors who sought justice for the Palestinians, labelling those who opposed his slaughter of innocent men, women, and children as “Iran’s useful idiots”.
Netanyahu was treated like a demigod, making a triumphant entrance into a Congress that has aided him diplomatically and materially in his efforts to perpetrate genocide on the Palestinian people. The lack of shame, moral, and ethical principles, and self-worth among US Congress members is striking, akin to the Third Reich rooting for Hitler as he murdered Jews.
For political and financial expediency, these selfish Congress members have sworn allegiance to AIPAC and the Zionists in Israel, abandoning their constituents. This demonstrates a profound lack of ethical and moral principles, as they fail to see Netanyahu for what he truly is: a butcher of innocent men, women, and children, with the death toll at 40,000 at last count.
The US administration, Congress, and all its official agencies are complicit with Israel in this genocide, aiming to erase Palestine from memory and consign it to a lost nation.
