Smart home gadgets make Covid-19 lockdowns safer, more comfortable

If you’re thinking about what accessories to buy to make your home safe and comfortable, a smart home gadget should be at the top of your list.

In the long run, a smart device, be it a television or a speaker, will benefit you. Consider a Ring video doorbell that works nicely with an August Smart Lock because it’s a device that can keep your front door secure, thanks to the camera and automated lock that can be controlled from your smartphone. This will come in handy while you’re receiving deliveries or checking who’s at your front door.

Another tool is the Google Home hub that can be connected to any Google Assistant-enabled device that can perform any task you require. It’s an iPad-like interactive smart screen with a built-in speaker.

It reminds you of daily, and future events, and can even answer your questions. Because it is connected to a variety of smart devices, you can easily change the channel on your smart television and modify the temperature of your air conditioner.

You’ll need smart lights if you’re a techie or a streamer. With the use of a smartphone or a voice command from your Google Assistant, the Philips hue light bulb can change colours, and turn on and off.

You can control your illumination at night or in the morning, without having to get up, thanks to the unique controlled programme on your phone that you can download.

Even if you can’t leave your house, a smart television, paired with smart speakers, will give you the feeling of being in a movie theatre. When you pair the Sonos surround sound speakers with a cutting-edge 8K Samsung television, for example, you will get crystal-clear audio and visual experience.

A top-of-the-line kitchen is a must-have for all chefs and those who love to cook. Yes, even household goods such as a refrigerator can be a smart home gadget.

A Samsung family hub is one of the most intelligent refrigerators available today. The refrigerator has a built-in touch screen monitor that can display notes and photographs. Think of it as a gigantic iPad built into your refrigerator.

It also has a built-in camera that allows you to see who “stole” the lunch you had prepared and kept in the fridge. The easy-to-use, built-in control panel to adjust the cooking temperature and time with a single push of a button, makes the Samsung microwave wall oven a must-have.

The Roomba is the most widely purchased and used smart product today. It’s a mopping and vacuuming robot.

People utilise this technology to help them clean their homes during the lockdown because their cleaners are unable to come. This versatile robot may be employed in a variety of settings, including bedrooms, and living areas. Purchasing a Samsung Powerbot allows you to sweep and mop your floors at the same time.

The LG Styler is also a great investment. With a touch of a button, the steam closet reduces wrinkles and refreshes clothes in minutes.

Due to the lockdown, my family uses some of these robots in our house. Such products have certainly helped us, and many others, make our stay at home safer and more comfortable.
