Brace for a quiet Chinese New Year this year.
Senior Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the standard operating procedures for this year’s celebration are as follows:
1. Celebration can only be among family members from the same household.
2. Reunion dinner will only be among family members from the same household.
3. No prayer sessions at temples.
4. Lion Dance and other cultural events not allowed.
5. No visiting allowed.
Separately, Ismail Sabri said car wash services, barbershops and saloons will be allowed to operate beginning tomorrow.
